Important note: These program terms contain provisions that limit our liability to you, eliminate your right to a trial by jury, require you to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and not as a part of any class or representative action, and through final and binding arbitration. Review the “Agreement to Arbitrate” section below.
Please read these Program Terms carefully for important information about your rights and obligations in the Buckle Rewards Program (“Program”). By participating in the Program, you agree to these Program Terms.
The Program is provided by The Buckle, Inc (“Buckle”). Comenity Bank (“Comenity Bank”) issues the Buckle Credit Card (“Card”). The purpose of the Program is to reward customers for shopping at Buckle, while providing additional benefits for certain uses of the Card. The Program Terms may be supplemented with additional terms, conditions, and disclosures, including but not limited to applicable terms related to any promotional offers provided to you for use with the Program.
For the most up-to-date terms, please visit Buckle.com.

You can then redeem Points for Buckle Rewards. Buckle Rewards is a free, points-based loyalty program, and no purchase is necessary to join the Program. By enrolling in Buckle Rewards, earning Points and redeeming Rewards, you agree to be bound by these Program Terms.
These Program Terms are separate from your Buckle Credit Card Account Agreement (your “Card Account Agreement”), which governs the use of your Card account (“Card Account”). In the event of any conflict between these Program Terms and your Card Account Agreement, these Program Terms will control in any matter relating to the Program.
All information collected about you in connection with the Program is subject to The Buckle, Inc’s Privacy Policy, which can be obtained at buckle.com.

Earning PointsYou will earn Points when you make eligible purchases of goods and services for personal, family and household purposes, minus any returns, refunds or credit adjustments (“Net Eligible Purchases”). Each qualifying item purchased in a transaction is used to calculate Points, rather than the total transaction amount. Purchases that are not a whole dollar amount will be rounded to the nearest whole dollar amount to determine the amount of Points earned. Purchases that end in $0.50 or more will be rounded up and purchases that end in $0.49 or less will be rounded down.
You will earn:
- “Member”: (1) Point for each $1 of Net Eligible Purchases made at any Buckle location or buckle.com.
- “Premier”: (2) Points for each $1 of Net Eligible Purchases made at any Buckle location or buckle.com using a Card.
- “Premier+”: (3) Points for each $1 of Net Eligible Purchases made at any Buckle location or buckle.com using a Card.
Points are earned on the redemption of Buckle gift cards. Points are also earned upon final payment of a layaway transaction and are based on the tender used for final payment. Points for online purchases are awarded when qualifying items ship.
Points are not earned taxes, shipping charges, delivery charges, discounts, purchase of Buckle gift cards, redemption of Buckle Rewards, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, charges that violate the terms of your Card Account Agreement, interest charges, fees of any kind or other excluded charges. Points cannot be accumulated on purchases made prior to enrolling in Buckle Rewards; bonus Premier and Premier+ Points cannot be accumulated on purchases made prior to obtaining Premier or Premier+ status. The additional Points associated with Premier and Premier+ statuses are not available on international online purchases.
Buckle may temporarily prohibit you from earning Points, using Points, receiving or redeeming Buckle Rewards or using any features of the Program if: your Account becomes delinquent; Comenity Bank suspects that you or any authorized user has engaged in fraudulent activity related to your Card Account or the Program; or Buckle suspects that you misused the Program in any way.
Points will be credited to the account of the Buckle Rewards member who makes the qualifying purchase. Points are only awarded on transactions where a Rewards Account is identified at the time of purchase. The bonus Premier and Premier+ Points are only awarded on transactions where a Card is used for payment.
Points awarded for purchases that do not remain Net Eligible Purchases will be deducted from your Points balance. Returned items may result in credits being applied to your Rewards Account, which will reduce or may eliminate accumulated Points and may result in a negative Points balance. If your Points balance goes negative, you must first earn Points to bring your Points balance to zero before earning any Points eligible for redemption. Buckle reserves the right to verify and adjust Points, as applicable, at any time and in Buckle’s sole discretion.
Buckle Teammates will earn 1 Point for every $1.00 of Net Eligible Purchases when using a Buckle Card. Buckle Teammates do not qualify for the Buckle Card 1st Purchase Discount.
Bonus Points for Special OffersFrom time to time, Buckle may make bonus offers to earn additional Points (“Bonus Points”).Read each offer carefully, as there may be important conditions or limitations, such as blackout periods, Bonus Points limits, or exclusions. Such offers may be limited based on purchase activity, geographic location, time periods, product categories, program participation, and/or information supplied by you. You may have to register to qualify for the offer. Buckle may change or withdraw an offer at any time without notice. Any such change or withdrawal will not affect Bonus Points already earned. Certain offers may only be communicated via email. See promotional materials for items excluded from specials offers and bonuses.
Upgrades and TiersPremier status is granted to all Buckle Rewards members with a Card and earn 2 Points per $1.00 spent on Net Eligible Purchases made with a Card. Only Card Accounts in good standing, as determined in Comenity Bank’s sole discretion, may be eligible for an upgrade to Premier+ status, which earns 3 Points per $1.00 spent on Net Eligible Purchases. Generally, good standing means a Card Account is open and is not in default as defined in the Card Account Agreement. Upgrades will be processed on a regular periodic basis and tier resets will be processed on a calendar year basis. Tiers are as follows:
If you spend $1,000.00 or more on Net Eligible Purchases at Buckle using your Card in a calendar year (the “Program Year”), you will be upgraded to Premier+. The upgraded tier status is good for the remainder of the calendar year following the year in which the status was reached, after which annual requalification is required.
For every 300 Points you earn, you will receive a $10 Reward. Rewards will be generated at the point of sale and multiple Rewards may be redeemed at one time, subject to the limitations below. Rewards are for use in-store and online at buckle.com. Rewards may not be redeemed in the same transaction in which they are earned. All Rewards will be calculated and issued by Buckle. Points will automatically be subtracted from your Rewards Account’s Point balance upon redemption of a Reward. Any remaining balance of accrued Points will be reflected in the Member’s Point balance.
Multiple Rewards may be redeemed for Net Eligible Purchases in a single transaction. However, all Rewards must be redeemed in increments of $10 and the amount of Net Eligible Purchases must exceed the total number of Rewards redeemed. By way of example, if you have 650 points and make a Net Eligible Purchase of $12, you may only redeem 300 points for a Reward, which will be issued as a $10 discount against the purchase price.
To redeem Rewards in-store, you must provide some sort of unique identifier (e.g. name, telephone number, or email address) at the time of purchase so that Buckle Teammates can verify your Points balance. If there are enough points in your Rewards Account to be eligible for a Reward, the Teammate will apply the appropriate number of Rewards at the point of sale at Member’s direction.
Rewards are combinable and can be used in conjunction with any other Buckle promotional or sale price offer, discount or coupon, not to exceed the Net Eligible Purchase total. Rewards will be applied as a prorated discount across the Net Eligible Purchases in a single transaction.
Rewards may not be applied to past purchases. Rewards may not be redeemed for certain charges, including but not limited to the following:
- Payment on Buckle Credit Card
- Purchase of Buckle Gift Cards
- Payment on layaways
- Insufficient funds charges
- Alteration fees
- Shipping charges
- Watch repairs
- Gift Wrapping
- Paper gift certificates
Buckle is not responsible for stolen Rewards.
Points will expire 56 weeks from the date of the Net Eligible Purchase.
Termination and ForfeitureImportant note: Subject to any requirements or limitations of applicable law, Buckle may at any time for any reason change or terminate the Program and these Program Terms without notice.
Buckle reserves the right to terminate you from the Program. If you voluntarily cancel enrollment in the Program, all Points and available Rewards will be forfeited. An account in which all Points have expired may be closed at Buckle’s discretion. If your Card is canceled, whether by you or Comenity Bank, you will no longer earn bonus points under the Premier or Premier+ status and will default to Member status.
Points will be forfeited if any of the following occur: you terminate your participation in the Program; you or any authorized user of your Card engages in any fraudulent activity or misuse related to your Card or the Program, or engage in any activity deemed to be abusive or gaming conduct, as determined by Buckle. Rewards are void if sold, purchased, bartered or exchanged for cash or other consideration, or if received in violation of these Program Terms. No change/currency will be given for any unused portion of a Reward.
Points earned on Net Eligible Purchases that are later returned will be deducted from your Points balance. In the event you return merchandise that was partially or wholly paid for with a Reward(s) by you, the number of Points attributed to the Reward redeemed for such merchandise will be added back to your Points balance upon completion of the return transaction. Should returns create a negative balance in your account, future Points earned and posted to the account will be applied to the negative balance.
You may review your Points balance online at buckle.com, by asking a Buckle Teammate in store, or by contacting Buckle Guest Services at 1-800-607-9788 or guest.services@buckle.com. The amount of Points earned is based on the date your purchase was made, which may be different than the date the transaction posts to your Card Account. Governing Law; AssignmentThe Program and these Program Terms are governed by federal law and, to the extent state law applies, the laws of the State of Nebraska. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Program Terms to any other person or entity. Important note: You and Buckle agree that each of us may bring Claims arising from or relating to these Program Terms only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative action or proceeding.
“Claim,” as used in these Program Terms means any claim, dispute or controversy that in any way arises from or relates to these Program Terms.
Complete Agreement; Severability; Conflicts; No WaiverThese Program Terms supersede any previous terms and conditions governing the Program. The Program is not available where and to the extent prohibited by law. Agreement to Arbitrate
Important note: Any party may elect to arbitrate any Claim arising from or relating to these Program Terms (including disputes about the validity, scope or enforceability of this agreement to arbitration), in which case such Claim shall be settled by binding arbitration on an individual basis and not as part of any class or representative action.
Arbitration may be elected by any party with respect to any such Claim, even if that party has already initiated a lawsuit with respect to a different Claim. Buckle will not demand to arbitrate an individual Claim that you bring against us in small claims court or your state’s equivalent court, if any. But if that Claim is transferred, removed or appealed to a different court, Buckle then has the right to demand arbitration.
The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"), JAMS, or any other company selected by mutual agreement of the parties (the “Administrator”), in accordance with the rules of the Administrator. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the Administrator’s rules. If, however, you are able to demonstrate that the costs of arbitration will be cost-prohibitive for you as compared to the costs of litigation, Buckle will pay as much of the filing, administration and arbitrator fees as the arbitrator deems necessary to prevent the arbitration from being cost-prohibitive for you. The arbitrator will not have the power to award punitive or exemplary damages, the right to which each party hereby waives. The arbitrator’s decision must be with written explanation and remain confidential. For purposes of this “Agreement to Arbitrate” section, these Program Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. sec. 1-16 (FAA).
Opt-Out Procedures: You may choose to opt-out of this Agreement to Arbitrate by sending a written notice within 30 days after the date you accept these Program Terms for the first time. You may send your opt-out notice by mail or hand delivery to The Buckle, Inc., 2407 West 24th Street Kearney, NE 68845 USA. Your opt-out notice must include your full name and clearly indicate your intent to opt-out of the arbitration provisions.
Prior to initiating any arbitration, the initiating party will give the other party at least 60 days' advanced written notice of its intent to file for arbitration. Buckle will provide such notice by mail or email using the contact information on file with us and you must provide such notice by mail to us at 2407 West 24th Street Kearney, NE 68845 USA.
